Why does Mugabe attract so much attention? Perhaps it really is a Western conspiracy to bring down a revolutionary hero (with democracy as a Western ideal). Or maybe he really is an insane despot who will torture, kill and intimidate to hold on to power. What's the whole truth? Probably somewhere in the middle. (Though closer to the insane dictator side, in my opinion.)
